Hi everyone! My name is Wilma Wei and I am a first year at UCSB majoring in Environmental Studies. I have a strong passion for preserving the environment through spreading awareness through writing articles and conducting science research. My love for the environment mostly stems from my childhood spent in national parks, Environmental Studies class in high school, and my teachers who inspired me to pursue science research. Through Voiz, I am excited to be part of a community that can inform the general public and individual consumer in making sustainable choices when buying products. I also hope to further educate myself and my peers in the concept of corporate sustainability. When I’m not busy doing schoolwork or exploring a a new hiking trail, I enjoy painting with watercolor, reading, backpacking, playing piano, and camping!
