Hi! I'm Vivian, a third-year Business Economics student at UCLA with a minor in Statistics. I'm a Chinese girl studying in the US with a dream of exploring the world and an aspiration to voice for the underrepresented minority in the business sector. My career interest is Consulting and Finance. In my spare time, I love traveling and going karting. I have developed an interest in sustainability when doing multiple related projects. In my sophomore year, I conducted research on the United Nation’s SDG goals and led a team to investigate climate change issues. At the beginning of my junior year, I composed an executive summary for the company Pacific Gas and Electric to demonstrate how to use technology and expertise to better protect the environment. From those projects, I realized the necessity of education about sustainability and discovered my passion to impart that knowledge to my community. The way I perceive sustainability: I would think of it as the proposition that should be undertaken by humans to achieve a better society and environment. A sense of calling. A sense of mission. I look forward to learning more about sustainability at Voiz and bringing it back to people around me to exercise principles of sustainability in our daily life.
