Hi friends! My name is Kendall Foley, and I am a sophomore at Connecticut College planning on double majoring in Philosophy and Economics. I am from Sammamish, Washington and spend my free time enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest by swimming, hiking, running, and skiing, so the environment is constantly on the forefront of my mind. I am also passionate about advocacy for those with disabilities, and my work has emphasized to me the importance of diversity in pushing for a comprehensively sustainable future. I saw first-hand how the “straw ban” negatively impacted the day-to-day of many people with disabilities without an effective, accessible, and sustainable solution on the market, and I hope that at Voiz I can work to ensure that the push for a sustainable future is inclusive.
