Hello! My name is Katherine, I have just finished my first year as a Biological Natural Sciences student at Newnham College, University of Cambridge. My degree is very broad and interdisciplinary; so far I have had the opportunity to study topics ranging from molecular biology and chemistry, to statistics and coding, as well as climate related issues like food security and decreasing biodiversity. I haven’t decided yet which areas I would like to specialise in later on in my degree, but I am really keen to see how they intersect with research into sustainability. I believe that consumers have a lot of power to force the changes that are urgently needed in order to create a sustainable society, and I am very excited to be working with Voiz to empower consumers and amplify the voice of our generation. During my time at Voiz I hope to explore the sustainability of the pharmaceutical industry in particular. I am British and and lived in a Kent seaside town for my entire life. I love spending time at the beach with my dog, and my other interests include playing the violin and sewing my own clothes.
