Hi! My name is Zhuoran Liu and I go by Grace. I am a rising junior at Boston College double majoring in Math and Econ with a Finance minor. I was born and raised in Jinan, China, and went to high school in Seattle, WA. I became extremely interested in sustainability and environment related issues ever since a volunteering trip to New Orleans. As a Math and Econ major, I would love to explore the employment of data science in environmental policy making and social issues. In academia, most scenarios are modeled as an optimization problem and traditional scientists do not work through the challenges of change management to ensure long-term growth and general welfare. Since sustainability is now one of the most pressing issues we face, I wish to develop a deeper understanding about sustainability through working with Voiz and incorporate it into my future research and career.
