Namaste all !! I am from Nepal and current I am in Cambridge, UK pursuing M.Phil in Engineering for Sustainable Development. I am Co-Founder at Nepal Flying Labs where I have been actively involved in promoting the humanitarian application of frontier technologies such as drones in the field of risk mapping, analysis for resilient development. I have led the first-of-a-kind medical cargo drone project in Nepal which has received the 2020 TIACA Sustainability Award. As a student at Cambridge University, I have enhanced my knowledge in global sustainability and recognised the need for systems thinking approach to deal with the complexity of sustainability problems. I believe a holistic approach with climate technologies, nature-based solutions and behavioural change is must to have a just transition towards low-carbon economy. I have been providing the community by volunteering and leading different volunteering organizations. I am the charter director of Rotaract Club of Patan-South RID-3292 Nepal-Bhutan with which I have conducted different charity events, community service projects, and aided building of a community school. I am also leading and bridging young professionals of 18 different countries of the SCO region as founding Vice-Curator of the SCOLAR Kathmandu Hub, a Nepalese chapter of the SCOLAR Network, a youth platform of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) aimed at bringing together young leaders from 18 different SCO countries to strengthen connectivity, promote dialogue and contribute to regional development.
