Hey everyone! My name is Ashley Haman and I’m a Sophomore at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. I am originally from Broomfield, Colorado, and have been lucky enough to grow up skiing, hiking, biking, and camping in the Rocky Mountains with my friends and family. This has fostered my passion for the environment and my desire to protect it for future generations, two things that inspired me to double major in Environmental Studies and Public Policy at USC. In the future, I’m planning on combining my majors to promote sustainability through policy-making on a national or global scale, and I’m excited to learn some necessary skills to do so through my time with Voiz. When I’m not outside, you can find me dancing with Trojan Dance Force at USC, thrifting, or reading.
My favorite part of being a SAL was definitely getting to know the Sustainability Analysts and watching their personalities shine through their reviews. Every analyst comes from different experiences and has their own story, and I love how they were able to take these experiences and be unique in writing their reviews. I truly believe I learned as much from them as they did from me in reading their reviews.
