Hi everyone! My name is Anna Gossard (she/her) and I’m a second year in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan, studying environmental engineering with a focus in sustainability. Right now I’m a research assistant for a professor who is conducting research on Great Lake water level variability. I’m originally from the Chicagoland area, and I lived only a 10 minute walk away from Lake Michigan. My family also owns farms in Delavan, IL and Possumneck, MS where we grow soybeans and corn, and we have started to incorporate more sustainable practices into our own farming, such as crop rotation and implementing a windmill. I’m excited to be an intern for Voiz so I can continue to pursue my passion in the environment and technology.
